Content Moderation policy

Applies to: All users and content on Fayds
1. Purpose
Fayds is a platform for creating and sharing short-form video content. This policy explains what content is allowed, what is not allowed, and how we moderate content to keep the platform safe, respectful, and lawful.
2. Prohibited Content
The following content is not allowed on Fayds and may be removed at any time:
2.1 Harmful or Dangerous Content
• Content promoting or encouraging:
• Violence or physical harm
• Dangerous challenges or stunts
• Criminal activity
• Graphic or disturbing content
2.2 Hate and Harassment
• Hate speech or hateful symbols targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
• Bullying, harassment, or threats
• Encouraging others to harass a user
2.3 Sexual Content
• Pornographic or sexually explicit content
• Sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance)
• Sexual exploitation or trafficking
2.4 Self-Harm
• Content that promotes or encourages self-harm or suicide
• Instructions or encouragement related to self-harm
2.5 Misinformation
• Deliberately misleading or false information that may cause harm
• Impersonation of individuals, brands, or organizations
2.6 Illegal or Restricted Content
• Drugs, weapons, or illegal goods
• Content that violates applicable laws or regulations
3. Allowed Content
The following content is generally allowed:
• Creative, entertaining, and educational videos
• Commentary, opinions, and satire (as long as it does not violate this policy)
• Trends and challenges that are safe and lawful
4. User Responsibilities
Users must:
• Follow this Content Moderation Policy
• Respect other users
• Report content that violates the rules
• Only upload content they have the right to share
5. Enforcement Actions
If content or behavior violates this policy, we may:
• Remove or limit visibility of content
• Issue warnings
• Temporarily suspend accounts
• Permanently ban accounts for serious or repeated violations
The action taken depends on the severity and frequency of violations.
6. Reporting Content
Users can report content directly within the app. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team or automated systems.
7. Appeals
If content is removed or an account is penalized, users may appeal the decision through in-app support. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
8. Moderation Approach
For this MVP, moderation may include:
• Automated detection tools
• Manual review
• User reports
We may update our moderation systems as the platform grows.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the app means acceptance of the updated policy.
